What's the history behind the Four-Leafed Clover anyways?

Anyone who knows me knows I love history. All types, but especially ancient history... or what I consider ancient which is pretty much anything before the TV existed.

But a fascinating world is the intersection between history and legend because of the ways stories became legends which impacted whole generations of people like a ripple through time.

SO - what's the deal with four-leafed clovers?

Apparently ancient Celtic Druids (priests) in Ireland believed the rare clover to bring luck by warding off evil spirits.

After the introduction of Christianity (thanks St. Patty) the legend morphed into a story about Eve taking a clover for herself from the garden of Eden to remember better times.

I don't know about that, but if you've ever seen four-leafed clover in nature before you know the feeling of excitement - like something good is about to happen.

And in the case of playing the guitar... something good IS about to happen 🍀

This Sunday at our Live Event I'll be opening up an opportunity to get you finally playing the songs you know and love - Beatles, Dylan, Cash, Queen, Springsteen, Mayor, and more.

This opportunity WILL NOT be available except for those who attend the Live Event and it's my strongest offer to date to get you playing the guitar fast and easy.

So Go Sign Up For Sunday's Live Event now, mark your calendars, set your reminders, dial in your diaries and let's get you slammin' on a six string 🎸before you can say "St. Patty's Day."

Jam soon,
JB

I talked to a guy recently who was in his sixties, top of his career and miserable. He had no more mountains to climb, no new hills to take and everything felt pretty meaningless. So his wife bought him a guitar. He had never been musical, but she knew he liked listening to the old rock classics.  And something happened. He loved it. Every bit of it. The smell of the rosewood rubbing off on his...
Springsteen-Strength
In the summer of 1976, Bruce Springsteen was everywhere. His face was on the cover of Time and Newsweek in the same week — a feat no rock musician had pulled off before. Born to Run had made him a phenomenon. The world was waiting to see what he'd do next. Then, almost overnight, everything stopped. A legal dispute with his manager Mike Appel over the direction of his career had been building f...
He waited too long
"I'm sorry but I have to put the guitar down for good." Words he never thought he’d say, but were true. This was a student of mine last year who had always said “one day I’ll pick up the guitar” and kept putting his career ahead of his dream.  Unfortunately by the time “one day” rolled around and he was retired arthritis had set in so badly that within a few weeks the pain was unbearable. My h...
