So wait, how do i become my own guitar teacher? (link fixed!)
If you've followed our progress over the past year one of the things you may have noticed is how we train our students with an end-date in mind.
Our goal at Stupid Simple⢠Guitar is to be your last teacher ever... as you become your own guitar teacher.
How does that happen?
A few ways.
We'll dive into them in more depth at our free workshop This Wendesday, but here's a brief summary.
- Learning like the pros. Professional guitarists each have their own unique journeys with the guitar, but they all share common hacks to shortcut the length of time. Wednesday we'll talk about those shortcuts and how you can implement them in your own journey.
- Thinking like the pros. If you've ever watched a good guitarist and thought, "man they make it look so easy!" That's because you're only seeing the outside, but if you could think their thoughts you would see that a little bit of chord theory (which is essentially counting on your hands) goes a long way in your progress. Tomorrow night we'll show you how to think like a pro.
- Moving like the pros. Do you remember learning to type? At first, the most awkward thing ever, but after a few weeks you were flying across the keyboard. That's called muscle-memory. And the faster you can get those tiny muscles in your hands trained the more you'll be playing songs you know and love without even thinking about it. That's what tomorrow's event, "Become Your Own Guitar Teacher" is all about.
Whether you're just picking up the guitar for the first time, or you've tried everything else under the sun and you're still stuck, we've got you covered.
Join me tomorrow evening, Wed at 8:30pm EST, to learn how you can fast track your guitar journey, become your own guitar teacher, and play any song by heart.
I'll see you there!
Jam soon,
J.B. the Guitar Guy
PS - we're still a small operation and so zoom actually limits the number of participants we can host, so save your seat HERE before we're full!
