"I've already got a teacher, why should I switch now?" (maybe you shouldn't)

Lots of beginner guitarists have asked the question. Especially when we've titled our event this Wednesday, "Become Your Own Guitar Teacher: Pro Hacks & Chord Theory to Play Any Song by Heart." 

And it's a good one. 

If you've got a teacher now, or had one in the past, why should you make a switch? 

Our answer might surprise you - maybe you shouldn't.

At Stupid Simple™ Guitar we're all about getting guitarists to love what they play. If you're loving your teacher and your progress is where you want it then you should 💯 stay where you are.

But if that's not your experience. If you're still tied to tabs and chord sheets everytime you pick up your guitar or you freeze up when someone asks you to play something they know or you still can't get through a full song confidently then it might be time for a change. 

Now, I know some are skeptical about a teacher like me saying you should switch teachers... and that's fair. 

But at least come out and see for yourself what our students have called, "fun," "unique," and "exciting." 

One of our highest values is honesty so you will get the full picture of what we mean when we say we want our students to become their own teachers. 

Shoot, maybe even some of you will teach others one day or join a local band or write your own songs and get your grandkids' help putting it on TikTok (I still don't get that app).
