LEGO discovery helps with playing the guitar!

Dec 30, 2025

I just learned that LEGO started out making wooden toys.

It would be 14 years before the founder, Ole Kristiansen, would order his first plastic mould machine and it took another 3 years to convince his sons to make the iconic plastic bricks.

Why?

It had never been done before. Everything had always been wooden. Plastic was new, untested, even strange.

But the results were undeniable - and lego bricks spread the world over.

Sometimes it takes a new idea, a bold method to get the juices flowing and the sparks cracking.

That's what we're all about at Stupid Simple Guitar.

We found an old trick from the guitar pros of the 60s and 70s and developed it into an entirely new teaching method that gets you playing the guitar from day one.

Playing... not learning.

Playing the guitar on day one.

So... are you ready to slam on the ole six string?

Email me at [email protected] with the subject line "I'm Ready!" to make 2026 the year you play all your favorite songs on the guitar!

Jam soon!

Memorializing: v) preserve the memory of some one or thing
It's Memorial Day and if you have served in the military, first, thank you for your service and sacrifice. It is easy to forget that the freedoms we enjoy in this country came at a price and many are still paying that price today.  But what do we do on a day like this?  Visit the gravesite of lost loved ones, attend a service, watch a movie, listen to music that was meaningful way back when. Bu...
